The Socastee Braves Varsity Wrestling Team traveled to Lugoff Elgin High School to compete in the combined 5A Lower State Tournament. Brackets were 32 man format and you had to finish in the top 8 to move on to the State Tournament. Three Braves punched their ticket today. Gavin Maxwell finished fourth at 144 pounds Michael Kegler finished eighth at 150 pounds Jakob Antidormi finished eighth at 285 pounds The three of them will travel to the Florence Civic Center this weekend to compete against the other Lower State Qualifiers along with the top 8 wrestlers from the Upper State in hopes of a State Title.
